True to the spirit of content in cinema ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ stand tall and made a logical sense with its fun plot. An intelligent and satirical comedy after a long time is witnessed this weekend. Right casting and a Good writing has made a lot of difference perfectly exemplified by the director and writer of the film.
Diana Penty displayed growth in her performance after her first film and she has come back with an excellent script and excellent timing. There was a new concept of runaway bride this time which audiences can applaud on.
Jimmy Shergill is really a mammoth actor who floors you completely with his flawless Punjabi character, much appreciable. He has shown his versatility and has an awesome screen presence with a witty dialogue delivery which will make you fall in love with his character.
Abhay Deol who is known for his out of the box image has a promising appeal in the film. Ali Faisal has a descent performance as a looser-lover boy image.
Moomal Sheikh has surely won millions of heart with her beautiful, rich, confident lady in love, she has given a promising performance and to consider her on board will be beneficial for the makers in coming times.
Happy Bhag Jayegi will make you laugh hard after so long as it has the elements which give you a laughter roller-coaster ride every time when the characters burst on screen with conned-tomfoolery. The film has touched the Ind-Pak friendship theme which is appreciable and it gives you a very emotional wing for the cross border people.
My Verdict: Happy Bhag Jayegi is surely a stress buster that will make you smile as you will step outside the theater with is competently extracted superb performances and the unpredictable climax. I am sure you will repeat the dialogues of Jimmy Shergill as his character has the vines of hangover “Tere bhai ki shaadi hai, card bhi batt gaye hain”
